This cherry branch was taken from my family orchard years ago. It moved houses with us. This past week I pulled it out of the pile and decided to see what was inside. Wow! Each healed limb that had been pruned revealed beautiful curled grain. Orchard wood by it's nature...at lease cherry orchard wood, doesn't gain much size in diameter. But the character of each piece is stunning. This piece most likely will end up as a bar top in filled as a "river table" with epoxy. Stay tuned.
